Synchro BC Welcomes Jennifer Keith as Interim Executive Director
BURNABY, March 6, 2017 – Synchro BC welcomes Jennifer Keith as its new Interim Executive Director. Jennifer will join Synchro BC on March 20th, attend the Mable Moran Regional Championships (April 7-9, 2017 at Grandview Heights Aquatic Centre in Surrey), and take over as Interim Executive Director April 10th.
In addition to a Commerce degree in Marketing and a post-graduate diploma in Sports Administration, Keith, from New Westminster, has 19 years of experience working in the Canadian sports sector. She was previously the Executive Director for Soccer New Brunswick, has worked for the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport, and has most recently been working as a facilitator to promote and nurture Club Excellence – a national certification program that recognizes sport organizations that invest in building capacity to meet and exceed a basic set of operating principles.
Keith’s expertise in sport governance, policy and procedure development, strategic planning, financial operations, funding and partnership development will be a great asset to Synchro BC over the next year. She has also successfully hosted an array of provincial, national, and international competitions as well as prepared athletes, coaches, and teams to participate in the Canada Games.
Keith’s passion is to create opportunities to positively shape the lives of young people through sport while also creating pathways for athletic success that align with Long Term Athlete Development.

The British Columbia Amateur Synchronized Swimming Association (Synchro BC) is the governing body for the sport in British Columbia. Synchro BC was registered as a not-for-profit organization in 1980 however it has been an organized sport in BC since 1952. Synchro BC governs the sport of Synchronized Swimming in our province, providing opportunities for athletes, coaches, officials and volunteers. Our programs include a wide range of participation, recreational, and competitive levels for participants of all ages, genders, and skill levels.
